In a room full of people with three second attention spans, they grabbed hold of the entire space and whisked everyone away on their own, magically crafted journey. Poised and looking totally in their element, they lived up to the night's name and tranformed from their dark, banging performance at the Monarch to an effecting rollercoaster of dislocation and elation. Achieving that rare crossover from band to DJ and back again, they alternated between engaging you, then making you dance so hard you forgot there even was a band. And just as their cover of Paint It Black had seemed to fade from memory, it would come back anew, making you wonder how long it had all been going on. Finally a band you don't have to look at, but can't take your eyes off.'
